Female hysteria was a once-common medical diagnosis, but is no longer recognized as a disorder today. The diagnosis and treatment of female hysteria was routine for hundreds of years in Western Europe and America. During the Victorian era (mid 1800s to 1901), the disorder or female hysteria was discussed in many medical texts. In fact, some physicians claimed that a quarter of all women suffered from the problem!

When I was young, my boyish obsession with the now extinct creatures was only helped by going to watch Jurassic Park several times at the movies. The infamous Tyrannosaurus Rex, the heavyweight Brontosaurus, the fast Velociraptor… what’s not to like?

I had originally intended for this post to talk about some funny things that people believe about dinosaur fossils, but that will have to wait until next week. You see, during my research, I came across many sources where people claimed that Satan and his demons have been cast to the Earth and are trapped here.
It is something that I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear. I wasn’t – after all, it is a rather mainstream belief based on a scripture in the Bible.

Nancy Lieder and ZetaTalk
Impending doom of Planet X heading our way? Never fear, Cockroach Man is here!
Nancy Lieder is the owner of a website called “ZetaTalk”. She claims that she is in telepathic communication with aliens from the Zeta Reticuli system, called (oddly enough) “Zetas”. Zeta Reticuli, despite no planets yet being determined there, is a popular target for claims of UFO origins. Nancy says she was contacted originally in 1993 where her brain was implanted with Zetan genetic material in order that she could communicate telepathically with the aliens.
She claims to have taken part in an alien hybrid program, where she was impregnated by a Zeta, and says that she has met with her resulting offspring (“He doesn’t have any hair. His head looks like it’s all rounded and white. It doesn’t look real hard. It’s got dimples here and there. Our skulls are smooth, so I wonder if there’s bone under there. Maybe there’s just brain. He has tiny little ears. They’re very small. His eyes are hazel colored and they don’t have any whites. Logistics of the Exodus – Part 2

In Logistics of the Exodus Part 1, we saw how two million Israelites and their livestock and equipment left Egypt in rows at least 200 people wide and 9 miles long. That, however, was just the beginning.
After fleeing their captors, the Israelites arrived at the Red Sea. God has Moses hold up his staff all night and parts the sea so that his people can cross. That’s right. Logistics of The Exodus – Part 1
It's not mentioned in the Bible, but some Israelites may have found alternative methods of travel during the Exodus
The story of the Exodus is very well known. According to the Bible, God’s people, the Israelites, were in captivity in Egypt. God wanted them set free, and ten plagues later, they were (there’s another post for Wacky Beliefs, there, surely!).
How many Israelites were there? Exodus 12:37 tells us, “…There were about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children.” Including the women and children, we’re now in the range of about 2 million people. A good point to note here is that the entire Egyptian nation most probably had a population of only about 3 million themselves. Read more →
The Earth is Hollow

Where do flying saucers come from? Where is Heaven? Where is the Political Kingdom of God? Where is the Original Garden of Eden located?
These questions may plague many a believer, but fortunately some people claim to have already found the answers. They believe that the Earth, moon and stars are all hollow bodies.
It’s very likely, some say, that people inhabit the innards of our planet. We’ve already seen how Jesus Christ apparently lives underground, but he isn’t alone.
Jesus shares the terrestrial paradise that is the inside of the Earth with the lost Tribes of Israel, the lost Viking colonies of Greenland and even Germans who migrated there after World War II! You have to feel for people in countries that don’t have a good infrastructure. No bus routes or train lines, no underground subway. I sometimes think back to when I had to cycle eight miles a day to get to and from work. I am so grateful that I now have a car.
Back in the 7th Century, travel was much more of an issue, but thankfully there was one special way to get about in no time at all. This form of travel didn’t have alloy wheels and carbon brakes, a large exhaust pipe and a turbocharger engine. Nor did it have a v12 engine with 2000hp. This was a completely different kind of horsepower.
